Reproduction:After mating in February-October, implantation of the fertilized egg is delayed by 3-9 months. Two to four young are born the following spring. Eurasian badgers live up to 25 years old in captivity.
Social Structure:A family group of up to 12 individuals may live in a network of burrows, called setts. When traveling, however, badgers do so alone.
Behavior:Eurasian badgers are nocturnal and playful creatures.
