Identification:The ring-tailed lemur has a gray back with paler limbs and belly. Its extremities are white. The top of the head, the eye rings, and the muzzle are black. The tail of this lemur is ringed with black and white.

Reproduction:Female lemurs gestate for 136 days. They give birth to 1-3 young in August-November. The offspring are independent by the age of six months.
