It has been 100 years since the RMS Titanic sank, and the tragedy has had resurgence of interest with the centennial anniversary. CSU Libraries now presents a web page highlighing primary source material for people doing research on the sinking of the Titanic.

RMS TitanicOne of the deadliest maritime disasters in history,  more than 1,500 people died when the Titanic hit an iceberg and sank in the North Atlantic Ocean on 15 April 1912 on her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York City. The sinking of Titanic caused the deaths of more than 1,500 people in one of the deadliest peacetime maritime disasters in history. One of three Olympic class ocean liners operated by the White Star Line, she was the largest ship afloat at the time of her maiden voyage.
